Dear respected devotees and friends,
I hope you, your family and friends are all safe and well. On behalf of Sanaton Association, please accept my apologies for the delay in informing you about our decision regarding the celebration of Durga Puja this year. As you know the Government guidelines have been changing and we have been waiting in the hope that the situation may improve.
Unfortunately, the situation has not improved and London has now moved into tier two measures. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, Sanaton Association has been prevented from celebrating Durga Puja at York Hall with members, devotees and friends. However, as you are aware, we must continue the annual worshipping of Maa Durga and as such, we have decided to arrange a Ghot Puja at an established temple. The temple authorities informed us that they would allow only a few people to attend the Ghot Puja and we are therefore unable to extend the invitations to our wider community.
It is very disappointing that our celebration has been drastically affected by the pandemic. However, we plan to share live footage of the puja and facilitate Anjali on a daily basis, via Facebook live for our members and devotees. We will be sharing detailed information with links closer to the time. For the latest information we ask that you visit and like our facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/sanatonassociation, so that we may keep you updated.
